Ruma National Park is a dramatic mosaic of golden savanna, rolling hills, and towering volcanic escarpments located in the Lambwe Valley near the shores of Lake Victoria. Often missed by the main safari circuits, Ruma is the only place in Kenya where you can find the critically endangered Roan Antelope. Known as the Last Retreat of the Roan, this park offers a wild, off-the-beaten-path experience where the landscape remains as untamed as the history of the surrounding Nyanza region.
