In the afternoon, set off on a game drive across Amboseli's wide-open plains and marshes, which draw huge elephant families, all framed by a stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Depart Amboseli early after an early breakfast for a long drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Break the drive with a hot lunch along the way before continuing north to Lake Nakuru. Arrive at the park gates in the afternoon and head directly out on a game drive to track highly protected black and white rhinos and Rothschild's giraffes and later drive to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a morning lakeside safari and a hearty breakfast. Check out and drive northeast up into the cool, mist-shrouded central highlands of Aberdare National Park. Arrive at Aberdare National Park for lunch and later enroute game drive to your hotel.

Descend from the forested ridges after breakfast for a short drive to the foothills of Mount Kenya National Park. Check into your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the animal orphanage and encounter orphaned wildlife and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
